Dr Alice Taylor

Alice Taylor is Reader in Medieval History at King's College London and Principal Investigator on the project. She is currently researching the question how medieval rulers (who had relatively little coercive infrastructure) governed in the twelfth century. She has a longstanding interest in the early history of Scots law, having published many articles in this field. Her book The Shape of the State in Medieval Scotland, 1124-1290 was published in 2016.
